Who We Are

Formed in 2004, Community Partners of Denton County is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to meet the critical needs of abused, abandoned and exploited children. We are an all volunteer organization dedicated to helping Child Protective Services (CPS), a division of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, in their mission to protect children in crisis.

Community Partners was originally founded in 1989, when a group of concerned citizens created Community Partners of Dallas to support the work of CPS caseworkers in Dallas County. The statewide program is now in more than 155 cities throughout Texas.
